Athletic DNA's sponsorship program, "Helix"will officially launch this week. Until recently, only select professional athletes had access to the high performance apparel. Athletic DNA Director of Player Relations and former University of Illinois team member, Evan Zeder, has begun touring events throughout the country and identifying Helix potentials.
"I've seen some really great talent in Florida this month. But, it's also awesome to see the kids who might not be winning every match yet, but are really battling and improving out there. You can just see the potential! Perseverance is definitely one of the qualities we look for in Helix athletes," said Zeder.
Zeder will be continuing his tournament tour with stops at Winter Nationals and Copper Bowl before heading Down Under to the Australian Open to support Athletic DNA pros and scout international talent.
A high level of demand has led Athletic DNA to launch Helix before their performance apparel range is available for sale. "A lot of the juniors have seen our clothes at the US Open or at Challengers, so they're ready to get on board," Zeder said. "It seems fitting that we begin with the grass-roots tennis community, because that is what Athletic DNA is all about."
