Erik Kortland is the Director of High Performance Junior Development at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, CA. The Riviera hosts 24 hardcourts, 2 clay courts and one of the best junior programs in LA, producing such stars as Maria Sharapova.  Mr. Kortland is currently a USPTA P1 teaching professional, ITF, ATP/WTA, and USTA traveling coach,  Erik continues to work with Southern California's top juniors as well as young touring professionals when he isn’t on the road.

 

 

 

Erik Kortland graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA in 2002, with a BA in Communications. Mr. Kortland has had a successful tennis career  (nationally ranked junior, ranked in NCAA division 1 singles, held an ATP world ranking and played for a professional club team in Erlangen, Germany and Szczecin, Poland) and entertainment career (promoter, writer, director, producer, channel developer), as well as being a forward thinking entrepreneur (mobile media).
