Mark played number 1 and 2 at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he finished first and second team all conference his sophomore, junior and senior year. Upon graduating Mark coached the team for one year before moving back to Milwaukee and founding SMACKtennis. SMACKtennis is a high performance academy for advanced juniors. Mark has been instrumental in developing the area into a tennis stronghold, producing top regional and national competitors.
Smack Tennis- Smack Tennis is a training and tournament coaching program that Mark co-founded with Mike Dierberger(who plays tennis for Wisconsin Badgers). Smack tennis is Wisconsin's only full service tennis development program. It utilizes proven coaches and players, advanced teaching methods from around the nation, and weekly physical and mental training. Smack offers weekly team drilling, semi-private stroke focus, private instruction, and tournament coaching. For the tournaments we transport, manage, warm-up, and chart our players throughout the event. We travel to Super Nationals, Nationals, Mid-west, and State tournaments all over the US.
