Following an extremely successful career in juniors, Mike made history at the University of Illinois where he still holds the record for most career wins for singles and doubles. Mike finished his senior year with an undefeated team season and an NCAA Championship in Doubles and Team competition. Mike was an assistant coach for the University of Illinois and Michigan tennis programs before moving to Seattle, WA where he co- runs one of the most successful junior programs in the country.

After a brief stint on the circuit Mike traveled as a touring pro coaching numerous players including Amer Delic(former top 100). He then moved full time to Seattle Washington where he currently co-runs one of the most successful junior programs in the country at Central Park Tennis Club in Kirkland, WA. The High Performance program has produced five top 20 players nationally in the past 3 years, including three number 1's.
