Before the US Open , Robby and I did a lot of medicine ball work...Here is one of the many exercises that we performed in order to make him more explosive. The over head slam starts from the ground, and the energy is transferred up and into the ball. This is similar energy transference like you see in tennis. The serve and forehand are just two examples of shots that start from the ground and flow into the ball. By doing so, you engage the kinetic chain your body natural stores, and if timed the right way, can be very powerful!
