 Here is a small clip from one of my workouts. I like this variation of the shoulder press. I was introduced to this exercise many years ago from one of my clients in Los Angeles, Rick Selby.

Rick would call these shoulder presses, “Arnolds”, coined after Arnold Schwenegger…apparently Ahhhnold liked these quite a bit.

This exercise will target your lats, delts, and rotator cuff muscles. The added twist at the end works the forearms and wrists.

A comparison to this exercise would be the pull up where your palms face you. This type of pullup targets the lats and biceps more, while a pullup with your palms away from you would target your shoulders more.
