Here is Dr. Mark Frisk performing an exercise on the Bosu Ball.
The Bosu Ball is similar to the Swiss or Stability Ball in that it increases the difficulty of certain exercises by decreasing the STABILITY of the exercise.
The squat by itself is a great exercise but when you perform it on the Inverted Bosu Ball it really fires up muscles you didn't even know you had, and has the ability to really get those legs shaking.
Dr. Frisk is using a 10 pound medicine ball here to help with balance, as well as core and upper body strengthening.
